Our Grandpa

Most of you all know this now, but for posterity reasons I am blogging it also.
On May 14, 2008 we were saddened to find out that our Grandpa's Cancer has came back.
We have had six months of a cancer free grandpa and we got to do lots of fun things with him. We got to go to Hawaii and the most recent thing that we got to share with him is K'Leigh's baptism. He was given the chance to speak on Baptism and he did an excellent job!
The whole time he was at our house for the baptism Hannah would run around the house saying PaPa. These words are so precious to us all.
Our treatment plan this time around is, he has started an intense round of Chemo Therapy, they put a central line into his heart yesterday. Then they will give him a couple weeks off to build his strength up and then we are so blessed to have a sibling bone marrow match. His sister Aunt DeAnn, a million thank you's will never repay you for the pain that they will both go through but it will be worth it.
WE WILL KICK THIS CANCER IN THE BUTT AGAIN!!!

Grandpa Mike seems to be pretty comfortable. He is always wondering what the kids, Trent and I are doing? He NEVER complains and he is always their to make you smile.
We love you and are thankful for you in our lives!!!
