A wonderful trip to Hawaii

HAWAII

We just got home from nine wonderful days in O'ahu, Hawaii. It was an excellent trip!
The first night we ate at a very good place. It was just around the corner from our motel.

PEARL HARBOR
This was very special part of the trip for me. My Grandpa's ship U.S.S. Missouri is here and we got to see it.
Trent really thought he was tough!!

This is the place on the ship that the peace treaty was signed. My Grandfather was on the ship when it was signed!!

McKay's first wrestling tournament

On Saturday February 23, 2008 McKay had his first wrestling meet. It was a lot of fun and we sure learned a lot. He likes it (i was sure that he would not like it) and he counts down the days until he gets to go!!
He had to wrestle three times. One of the boys was not their so he only wrestled twice. He lost both, but he went out and tried and he gave it is all. I was so proud of him and he got a metal. That made everything all better.

(I know my kid needs a haircut! You will have to take that up with him and his dad. If you ask McKay he is not getting it cut until his first mission. So PLEASE don't call the state I would love to cut it if I was not out numbered.)

K'Leigh's Patriotic Program

K'Leigh after her performance.

Thursday February 21,2008 K'Leigh had a program at school. She sang a whole bunch of Patriotic songs and they honored the armed forces. She did a great job.

Busiest little "BEE"

This would be liquid foundation.
I ran to the store and Trent was doing homework with K'Leigh. This is what happens when our baby is left unattended. She got into my makeup bag and done a number on my room.
She did put mascara on her eyes, I thought that was a impressive thing.
I did not think to take a picture of her, but I thought that this was good enough!!

Our Super Bowl Party

Tonight we got invited over to some of our best friends the Shaw's to watch the Super Bowl. We had so much fun!! The game was great and the kids had a great time. Poor McKay has no boys to play with put he plays with the girls just fine and had no complaints.

Thank you guys for the good food and the good entertainment!! Love the new basement. We need to have many more parties their.

Stupid Snow Bank

Thursday January 31, 2008 Trent went to work at 4:00 p.m. I went about the nightly business and then I called him around five and said that dinner was ready. He then told me that he had wrecked his patrol car. I first asked the obvious,"if he was okay ?" He was fine but his precious Charger was not.
The story of how this happened is very funny. He was patrolling around at 4:15 and spotted a DOG that was running around so he was following it and then he met a snow bank.
He felt so bad! He loves his car and he hates to let people down.
I told him that things just happen!
Thanks honey for letting me post this!

It does not look that bad , but I guess the whole bumper has to come off. He was so mad he had just went and bought some wind shield wiper fluid and put it in it. Then this happens and puts a hole in the tank. Just his luck!!
