Sharing in some fun with the neighbors!

Some of our back neighbors got a new water slide and they invited the kids over to play!
It was great! K'Leigh going down the slide!

I opened the back door to check on the kids and Hannah saw what was going on, I shut the door and was talking to Trent and then went looking for Hannah, she went through the doggy door, and was on her way over there. So I ran and got a suit and swim diaper. She LOVED it and thought it was so fun!

I tried to get her to come home and she was having none of it. Even with BLUE lips, she is a crack up.

Strawberry Whipped Sensation

So I found this yummy recipe, and I thought I would share it with you guys!
4 cups fresh Strawberries, divided
1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tub cool whip
8 Oreo's
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Line 8x4 inch loaf pan with foil. Mash 2 cups of strawberries in large bowl. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, juice and 2 cups of the cool whip; pour into pan.

Top with combined chopped cookies and butter, press into mixture. Cover.

Freeze at least 6 hours. To serve, invert onto plate. Remove foil. Frost with remaining cool whip. Top with remaining strawberries, sliced.

Just a suggestion if you don't eat it all I think it needs to go back in the freezer. We put it in the fridge and it kind of melted.

Trent wants me to make a blog just for us bloggers to exchange recipes. He wants variety, I guess! Anyone interested let me know.

While we went up north to be with Trent's dad we left the kids with some wonderful people.
The first night and next day one of our good friends Linda Sorensen and her family had them.
Then she took them to Danyette Gladwell another good friend and they got to have a sleep over there. Then she took them to another set of good friends Amy Rosquist to play for the day.
It is so wonderful to live in a small town and to have such wonderful friends that we all love and adore. We can not thank you guys enough for helping us out in our rough patches.
The kids had a great time and I made sure to take this picture as soon as I got home so that I could blog it that night. I am kind of a slacker though. Thank you all once again.

The BEST day ever!!

Today Mike got his breathing tube out!! He can talk now. He said the worst thing in the world was that stupid tube! The other thing he said was you can not lock up someone that has been a cop for thirty years and not tell him what is going on. They had to restrain his hands so that he would not pull his tube out.
He also said that he would push the nurse button and they would come over the intercom and say do you need something?
That really made him mad because he could not tell them what he needed.

All is well now he got moved up to the Medical ICU and was eating ice chips when we left so I think we are Huntsman Bound shortly.

WHAT IS THIS WINTER??

We came to see Grandpa Mike when he got real sick so I packed kind of fast. I packed one pair of pants (I thought it was the end of May or something!) So I wear them for two days straight and they had already been worn once so they definetly needed a washing. We wake up and I get dressed in a pair of shorts . Well we walked outside and it was so not warm. Mike's room is also a freezing place. So I went and bought a pair of yoga's !Yes this would be hail on my car!!
